If you asked me to describe an Aussie Shiraz, I'm going for an inky black, peppery, powerful number.

Not necessarily everyone's cup of tea.

That's why I love this from the Hunter Valley. Closer in profile to the cool climate Syrahs, this is light, lithe, and full of purple berries.

It's matured in French oak foudres for 11 months, resulting in a vibrant and modern shiraz with minimal sulphites added.

A really exceptional and unique wine for the collector.
