We don't do many orange wines here at Winedrops.

Despite them being achingly trendy in the likes of Hackney and Peckham - they're rarely world class in our humble opinion. A bit sour, a bit unrefined, a bit 'grippy'.

So imagine our skepticism when we came across the Orange Kisi - but those critic ratings...sheesh, we just had to give it a go.

I'm glad we did, because this liquid gold fast became a staff favourite. A traditionally made orange wine, which has been fermented and aged on the skins for up to 6 months, in traditional clay pots known as Qvevri.
