.You will have had Corvina before, but probably in the blend that makes up Amarone (along with Corvinone and Rondinella). It's not often you see it on its own.
As with Amarone, these grapes are dried before pressing, concentrating the flavours.
But unlike Amarone, this hasn't seen any oak, making it fresher, tarter, and fruitier wine. This makes a very versatile and food-friendly wine.
