Barolo is just so unique. From its garnet hue, to the layered, smoky taste notes, to the extreme ageing process.
It's not hard to see why it counts among the world's most expensive wine styles. We've sold Barolo in the region of £250 a bottle.
That's what makes this deal to exceptional, particularly from a producer as storied in the appellation as Barolo.
From vines aged 10-40 years old grown in vineyards in some of the most prestigious corners of Barolo DOCG: Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d’Alba, Monforte d’Alba, Barolo, Novello, La Morra, Verduno and Grinzane Cavour.
Aged, as is tradition, in large Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months.
