Rob Dolan is a name known to many Australians. A top Aussie Rules Footie player, he's got a few titles under his belt.

What nobody expected him to do was go and become one of the nation's leading names in winemaking.

More than that - he's credited with much of the success of Yarra Ridge, turning it from an obscure appellation in the early 90s to a world leader in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

This Chardonnay spent 10 months in seasoned French oak to round out the body, and 10% underwent malolactic fermentation for complexity.
