Penfolds, Yattarna, 2022

It's rare that a winemaker churns out both red and white wines of exceptional quality. They normally specialise in one or the other.

But it seems that nothing is beyond the reach of Penfolds.

The name 'Yattarna' translates to 'little by little', which nicely sums up the slow way this wine is made.

Nine months in French oak barrels gives this a Puligny Montrachet character and could age another 20 years.
