Meerendal Wine Estate, Shiraz, 2023

Meerendal’s wine heritage started in 1702 when sixty thousand vines were planted.

More than three hundred years later, the Meerendal family continue this proud history, with over one hundred and fifty thousand vines on the estate.

They focus on noble 'old world' varieties, like Sauvignon Blanc, Cab Sav, and Pinot Noir. This Shiraz is the jewel in their crown, exactly what you'd expect from an old world syrah.

Matured in small French oak barrels for 12 months, making the bang for buck here truly...erm, banging.
