If you're anything like me, you WANT to like Chablis, but sometimes it's just a bit too...austere.
Young and unoaked, it can be quite steely and unapproachable...a bit like my mother-in-law. I'M JOKING SHE'S DELIGHTFUL.
This is made in the classic way, on Kimmeridgian limestone and without oak. But intriguingly, it's not as austere as other examples.
It's got stone fruit, it feels round in the mouth, but still with the lip-zip salinity that we love. Nice wine.
