Grüner Veltliner is an Austrian grape, but has been adopted by some fast-rising 'New World' wine countries, like Slovakia and Czech Republic.
Little Cricket in Hungary has seized this wonderful varietal and produced a rendition that punches well above its pricepoint.
Typically, Grüner Veltliner offers primary flavors of lemon, lime, grapefruit, and nectarine, followed by secondary notes of white pepper, ginger, and honey.
This is true to style, but perhaps drier/crisper than you might expect.
