When I'm handed the wine list, one of the things I'll look for is a Viognier. Fuller bodied and tropical, it veers clear of the thin acidity that tends to divide people on white wine.

In this wine, Viognier is blended with another grape characteristic of the south of France; Muscat.

Both varietals flourish in the Languedoc where there's a lot of sunlight, and subsequently they develop stunning aromatic qualities.
