Tasting the Prelude is more than just a Prelude.

It's the whole f*@!ing book. At the beginning, it's opening up with these moody fruity notes - dark cherries and ripe blueberries.

Then the hero journeys through spicy tones from all that oak ageing.

Before finally - the denouement - roasted coffee flavours to make you feel cosy at the end.

How does it pack in so much complexity? Because Margaret River is will known as the 'New World Bordeaux'. Similar climate and soil, the Cab Savs here have all the same panache as the Left Bank greats.

No wonder that this estate was first made famous by Robert Mondavi where he threw his weight behind Leeuwin winemaking.
