Why is it weird? It uses 2 grapes rarely seen in the Languedoc, matured in oak for 8 months, and is damn full-bodied at 14.5% ABV.
Why is it wonderful? That body gives this a rich, oily texture that's as velvety as it is refreshing. The oak brings a roundness that is found on the most prized of white burgs.
