She cut her teeth in Chateau Haut Brion, a Bordeaux Legend Label, where she witnessed a dedication for quality above all else.

That's carried through to her small batch philosophy at Las Perderas - she would rather produce one bottle of liquid gold than a thousand average wines.

If you're looking for value-for-money, follow winemakers like Bárbara. It's fiendishly difficult to get hold of, but if you manage it, you get something affordable that someone has poured their whole heart and soul into.
