I've got to admit - it feels like every Rioja we sell somehow has a claim to being 'the oldest winery in Rioja'.

A bit like how every UK village somehow lays claim to having 'the oldest pub in Britain'. Yeah, right.

Anyway, this is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja.

The grapes are grown in one of the most premium parts of the area called Rioja Alavesa. This wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels followed by 18 months in bottle.

Highly rated by critics, well worth a punt for the Rioja lover.
