Gun to my head - if I had to say what I DON'T like about white Rioja, is that sometimes they can be a bit over-rich and oily.
Larchago tackled the question of the White Rioja from a new angle - something that retained Viura's natural butteriness, but worked in more crispness, more freshness.
It's very limited, while they figure out if it's a style worth pursuing - but we think so. It's rich without being cloying, crisp without being acidic.
