The Libéral family has reigned over Château Haut-Bages Libéral since the beginning of the 18th century.

Over the years, these fine connoisseurs have gathered the finest Pauillac terroirs. It is one of the 18 estates deemed a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Classification.

I'll be absolutely honest - the 1855 Classification can be pretty misleading. Unsurprisingly, a lot has changed since then, and lots of 'classified' chateaus produce shite wine.
