La Caplana are located in the highest hills of the Gavi. The cooler climate, plus unique soil type, gives you a wonderfully fresh and zippy wine.

Gavi di Gavi uses Cortese grapes which are notoriously finnicky. Thin skinned, they need to be selected by hand before cryomaceration and soft pressing.

When the sun comes out, there's only one wine I'm reaching for - and it's this sensational rendition of an all time favourite.
