Korbin Kameron, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2010

When Mitchell and his wife Jenny were on a drive through the Sonoma, they stumbled across a house for sale - high above the valley floor above the low lying fog. It looked over acres of rolling hills, and was totally wild.

They were seized with a dream - to turn it into a vineyard. And that they did, naming it after their children Korbin and Kameron.

I can see why - vineyards on Mount Veeder are now known to be some of the best in the Sonoma, producing ethereal yet fully developed Cab Sav blends.

This stunner is aged 21 months in 100% French oak, 50% of which is new.

And check that age! From 2010, so boy is this drinking nicely now.
