You know as well as I do how expensive White Burgundy gets. The CHEAPEST one Lidl does is £14.99 (although, to be fair, it is bloody good).
Well, this is just as bloody good. Ranked 91 by Wine Enthusiast and listed as a Best Buy, this wine keeps rarified company.
Other wines scoring 90+ and receiving Best Buy honours are usually double the price. A touch of oak age rounds this out beautifully.
Right up my street. I’m no connoisseur, I’m more a common sewer, but this definitely tickled my fancy
