Ixsir, Grande Reserve White, 2022

Located at around 1800m above sea level, Ixsir is one of the highest vineyards in the world. This name comes from the word, Iksir, which is the Arabic word for elixir.

Diverse soil types (clay, lime, and calcareous) along with the microclimate of the place makes it ideal for growing grapes that are known for their richness, complexity, elegance and purity.

Harvested in the dead of night, the grapes retain their freshness. French oak for 5 months gives this an added layer of complexity we'd be very happy to pay much more for.
