You guys wanted more New World wine - does it get more Saffa sounding than 'Hermanuspietersfontein Swartskaap'? I'm glad that I rarely have to say these words out loud.

The name 'Swartskaap' translates to 'Black Sheep'. One who doesn’t fit in well with the rest and always moves outside of the herd. He develops his own character outside of the family and is regarded as an outsider…

Well, this is HPF's only single block wine - 100% Cab Franc. It's recognised as one of South Africa’s best in what is considered a challenging cultivar. European in style, offering nuances of black live, generous fruit and fynbos spice. Totally different to the rest of the portfolio, it is what it says on the tin.
