That's right. Ten generations of the Bourgeois family have farmed the vines and produced wine at their estate in Chavignol.

Situated right in the heart of the region and enjoying some of the best soils, the estate has grown from its original two hectares to 65 today, thanks to the quality and success of the wines and the enterprising nature of the family.

Each vineyard plot is vinified separately to reflect the individual character of its soil, resulting in wines which express their own unique terroir. They've since expanded operations to Marlborough in New Zealand which tells you everything you need to know.
