Gedeelte Wines, Gedeelte 6 Sauvignon Blanc, 2022

Gedeelte do weird stuff. Good stuff! But weird.

The last wine we featured from them was one of only 4 wines in the world to use that grape.

This is a Savignon Blanc like no other - it's 'veil' fermented, which means it's left until a layer of yeast forms on top of the juice. Then it's moved to French oak barrels.

All of this, of course, proceeding the incredible limestone / cool Atlantic cliff terroir - truly awesome Sauvignon Blanc territory.

This wine is charged with so much minerality and tropicality, it's a really stunning glass and not hard to see why the Vivino mob love it. Real New World winemaking.
