This is the lowest price we can possibly do on this wine. Any lower and we'd be making a loss on EVERY BOTTLE.
Chianti, on the whole, isn’t really expensive (not compared to Super Tuscans, Barolos, etc.)
But it rarely comes in under £15. It’s of a consistent quality & low supply that the price doesn’t often touch a tenner.
So it was great to stumble across this - especially from a winemaker as good as Il Muro.
It’s a very passable chianti. Best left to breath for a couple of hours but I bought a load for my wedding and it went down a treat
Very very quaffable, black fruit, luscious with a spicy long lasting finish. Great with a mixed bursa kebab!!!
Great value chianti with a large personality.
