Pouilly Fumé vs Sancerre, the age old debate.

I've got a soft spot for Pouilly Fumé - flinty, smoky, a touch softer than Sancerre.

This is a classic from Domaine Tabordet. It's an "address to follow", according to the Bettane & Desseauve guide. It has also been awarded several times, including the Gold Medal for the Pouilly-Fumé 2015 vintage at the Centre Loire wine competition.

The adventure began in 1980, when the two brothers Yvon and Pascal Tabordet took over the family estate and their desire to create quality wines - now spanning 21 hectares.
