Domaine Houchart is located at the foot of Mount St Victoire near Aix en Provence. This region is part of the new, higher level, appellation "Cotes de Provence, St Victoire".

This simply means it's thought of as slightly better winegrowing territory than many of the Provence producers you know and love.
