Louis Duclaux was mayor of Chateauneuf-du-Pape in 1627 - a position that stayed in the family until 1831.

In this time, the Duclaux family amassed an empire in the appellation, seen as the 'daddy' of all that is right and proper in this fine winemaking legacy.

We have bought Duclaux vintages going all the way back to 1984, and we can confirm they are the all exceptionally made wines.

Noted for their old vines, some of which over 100 years old, this cuvée is unmissable at this price.
