The inspiration behind Digby's sparkling comes from the extraordinary Sir Kenelm Digby, a 17th century philosopher and scientist, known as the ornament of all England.

Cool name...but I've honestly got no idea what that means.

Back to wine - Digby is the first blending house in the UK. They take the top 1% of grapes and turns them into the very best in English sparkling.

At a recent industry tasting event, I visited the Digby stand hoping to taste this. But...it was ALL GONE! Most popular wine at the event, apparently.

Luckily they sent me some specially, and I can confirm, it is drop dead.
