Sacha Lichine is the father of Whispering Angel. And Alexis Lichine is Sacha's dad. Alexis Lichine owns Chateau Lascombes.

So Alexis is Whispering Angel's grandfather... OK, I admit it - I just wanted to crowbar that into the title to get your attention.

Château Lascombes, a 2emé Cru Classé property is one of the largest estates in the Médoc and probably the most fragmented, with around 40 or so different parcels of vines spread throughout the Margaux appellation.

Over the years, the owners have been ultra targeted in the parcels they acquire, munching up all the best terroir to make an exceptional wine.

This is their second wine, which makes it simply fabulous value.
