Chateau Verdignan, Haut Medoc, 2010

2010 was probably the last CRAZY vintage in Bordeaux. The sort of vintage where En Primeur kicked off a worldwide frenzy, particularly in East Asia.

That makes this 2010 Haut Medoc fiendishly difficult to get your hands on.

We say Haut Medoc...but the Chateau Verdignan vineyards are about as close as you can possibly get to St Estephe without being called St Estephe.

That means you get some ultra aged, classic appellation wine without having to pay the corresponding price tag.

Great to see critics raving about this wine now - proving its age-worthiness and ability to go even further into the 2030s.

Expect fully developed primary, secondary, and tertiary flavours on this absolute steal.
