In Bordeaux, there's a lot of chateaus.

I mean, A LOT. And lots of them produce VERY AVERAGE wine, so it can be hard to find the rubies in the rubble.

I was impressed by the Romefort - a chateau I'd never heard of. Then I did some digging...and found out who was behind the operation.

Legend label Chateau Lamothe Bergeron is operating this whole shabang, and their back vintages go for >£30 a bottle!

Romefort gets my vote of confidence.
