Lalande de Pomerol is near the city of Libourne and north of the prestigious Pomerol area. You can look here for more accessible bottles of red from the Right Bank of Bordeaux.

Because if you were getting full-blown Pomerol from 2012, well - it'd be quite a lot of wonga.

I'm not saying this is cheap...but my goodness does it taste expensive.

A Lalande de Pomerol from an 18th Century Château that is both giving with aromas of spice and dark berried fruits. This is a blend based mostly on Merlot then Cabernet Franc with a dash of Cabernet Sauvignon.
