Right. Listen up.
I had this on Christmas and it was
DROP
DEAD
GORGEOUS.
And then I got Norovirus and threw it all back up again.
Château Faugères 2014 is a wine that is sure to delight even the most discerning of palates.
Crafted from 35-year-old vines and aged for 15 months in 50% new French oak, this wine embodies the essence of St-Émilion Grand Cru since its upgrade in 2012.
Renowned wine critic Antonio Galloni has praised this vintage for its generous nose of red plum and juniper berry, noting that the palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, superb structure, and well-judged acidity.
And James Suckling has awarded it an impressive 94 points, describing it as "full-bodied, silky, and firm - so polished and sexy."
A reputable St Emilion Chateau that traces it's routes back to 1619.
