Deemed ‘smoking value’ by Robert Parker, the Classique from Chateau D’Angles is a fabulous summer red.

Syrah brings fruit and spices, Grenache brings roundness, and a dash of Mourvèdre gives structure and the refreshing minty touch of the La Clape appellation.

The vines are right at the bottom of Languedoc, overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The cool sea breeze slows ripening, giving you a fresh, fruity result.

A super bouquet of violets and garrigue is followed by dense fruit tones of black raspberry, boysenberry and plum. For the price, *this really is exceptional value*.
