The Joyau cuvée was created in 1961, under the aegis of René Boizel.
Since then only 15 of the most exceptional vintages were ever produced, using the best grapes from Grand Crus and Premier Crus of Champagne.
Joyau 2012 will be the 16th vintage of this rare collection. Harmonious blend of the very best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, exclusively from the greatest vintages, Joyau is the quintessence of the Boizel’s know-how.
In the darkness of the cellars, each vintage is aged with patience in order to reveal its complexity and harmony. It takes no less than 10 years of ageing on lees to start to express its richness and subtle aromas, when the Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay echo to each other.
