When wine makers didn't have to think so hard about MARKETING, and just focussed on the QUALITY of their wines.

It was the time of Auguste Lavoisier - a fabulous family producer in Champagne making great wines....but absolutely no marketing ability.

You won't find much online about this wine, except for a small community of drinkers that love it. We like to call this 'farmer's fizz' - proper grower champagne with a cult following in Champagne, but unknown beyond the appellation.
