For the most part, cremant is made in the exact same why as Champagne (the traditional method).

However, occasionally (as with Cuvee Royale), it's vinified to lower pressure, meaning the bubbles are finer. That let's you pick up more nuanced taste notes.

That's just as well, because there's a lot to pick up in this. Don't trust the price here - blind taste tested, this will blow all mid-range champagnes out the water.
