This beauty continually pops up on my whatsapp from tipsy Winedroppers asking if there's any left. It's normally a blurry, dark photo, with a fair few red splodges over a table cloth.

But that doesn't take anything away from the truth; that Casa Lupo's Amarone is bloody good.

Perhaps, even, one of the most popular wines we've ever done.

It's refreshing to see - Amarone is such a special wine with an incredible tradition. It's one of the more unique wine styles out there.

Casa Lupo leaves the grapes to dry for 4-5 months. The vinification takes place in steel vats, to then conclude in oak for 30-35 months.
