Why do I love Capo Zafferano?

Could it be the fact it clings to the most beautiful peninsula in all of Puglia?

Or could it be that it makes some of the best Primitivo in Italy?

Nope, sorry. It's that classic label design slapped on a big heavy bottle. You guys already know I'm a total sucker for a nice-looking bottle.

Appassimento means the grapes have been dried before pressing, which concentrates flavours and acidity. I've never seen an Appassimento wine of this quality at this price. WOW!
