Bodegas Taron, Crianza, 2019

One of our favourite Legend Labels here at Winedrops. Taron is the smart cookie behind Pantocrator, one of the industry's leading old vintage Riojas.

Continuing on this rich vein of form, the Crianza has the fruit, winemaking talent, and long ageing that we need to see from top producers.

Taron is a cooperative made up of 4 villages in Rioja Alta. That gives a big expanse over which to select the best grapes - over 1000 tiny plots!

Some vines are over 100 years old - which yield incredibly concentrated and balanced fruit. 14 months in American oak.
