Bibi Graetz, Colore, 2021

Based just outside Florence, Bibi is a maverick in the Tuscan wine scene.

Working with old vineyards of indigenous grapes around Chianti, he produces intense wines classified as IGT Toscana; not fitting neatly in either the Super Tuscan or Chianti camp.

Colore is his top wine, drawn from the oldest vineyards in Tuscany.
Complex and authentic, with a floral burst on the nose; geraniums, and lemon verbena.

The enchanting and floral nose gives way to a classy and full-bodied palette, with polished tannins running the substantial length of this wine. Damson and dates on the tongue.
