I know it's hard to pronounce, but if you're a Prosecco lover, you need to get familiar with Valdobbiadene.

It's a tiny area within the wider Conegliano region in Veneto, and it denotes the highest quality Prosecco.

In fact, if you DON'T see those words on the label, it's a bad sign. It means the grapes were sourced in any old vineyard, NOT necessarily the best ones.

The Valdobbiadene vineyards are great for a reason - steep, perfect soil, ideal microclimate. Don't settle for less people!
