WOW, what a find!

When I saw the ratings on this wine, I just had to give it a try. And I was not disappointed.

Malvasia Puntinata isn't a well known varietal in the UK, but has found its ideal habitat in the hills surrounding Rome.

It is so called because of the characteristic dotting that decorates its skin when it reaches perfect ripeness.

Perfection is a word touted around this wine for the scores it's achieved. Endless gold medals, and a gigantic 98pts.
