Codorníu might just be one of the oldest suppliers to do the business in Cava. Their winemaking heritage dates back to the 16th century would you believe it.
Brut Rosé is their most prestigious rosé cava from the series Anna de Cordoníu, produced in homage for the last person that carried the family name.
The grape originates from the wineries own vineyards in Lleida, with the most continental climate in the D.O Cava, this gives the grapes a better concentration and aromatic intensity with less acidity.
The harvest is completed at the end of August, during the night to maintain the grapes' freshness and to prevent oxidation.
