Altavins is based in Batea, a small town in Terra Alta.

It’s Catalonia’s wild south-west corner. Dry winds blow in from the Ebro. Sun beats down.

Garnatxa thrives here. But not just any Garnatxa. This is Peluda - “the hairy one.” A rarer, softer version. Thinner skins. Lower sugar. More finesse.

Almodí Roure is 100% Garnatxa Peluda from older vines. It’s fermented in steel, then aged 4 months in used French oak barrels. No tricks. No overload. Just clean, ripe, structured fruit.
