It is HIGHLY UNUSUAL for a Bordeaux Superieur to get that recognition. I don't know why - perhaps because they're all a bit samey & nobody is trying to do anything that revolutionary.

So when Maison Noble emailed us boasting about this score, we had to give them a visit.

A 14th Century feudal castle, all turrets and stained glass, the place does not disappoint. Neither, as it turned out, did the wines. Lived up to the hype.
