Wine Enthusiast gave this 92 points. If you're buying Bordeaux at this price, that's the number that should make you stop. Same family, same estate, since the 1400s. Six hundred years without a rebrand. The winemaking split is the thing I find genuinely clever: the Merlot goes into French oak for 12 months, while the Cabernet Franc goes straight to stainless steel to keep the fruit alive. That's where the blackberry and the tight finish come from. Five miles east of St-Emilion. Same soils. Different postcode.
